Top Gun Maverick had me listening the soundtrack for hours, including the song “Tramp” by Otis Redding and Carla Thomas. After many listens, the album cover got me thinking. I wanted to try my hand at redesigning it, keeping with the card suite theme. Using a bright color scheme, a slab serif font, and some deck of card imagery, we ended up with this album cover. I suppose in a way we can thank Tom Cruise and Top Gun for this personal project.
